Instead of just sending a boilerplate Notice of Appearance, you take five minutes to pick up the phone and introduce yourself to the opposing paralegal or counsel. You choose to set a positive, cooperative human tone right at the outset, knowing it prevents weeks of unnecessary adversarial friction later. Constructive Communication: Three months in, you are reviewing a case summary. You notice a phrase that unnecessarily criticizes the opposing party’s personal life. Advocate Responsibly: Represent clients in court when necessary, maintaining the firm’s commitment to respect and long‑term resolution. Mentorship & Leadership: Take advantage of the decades of legal experience amongst our other firm attorneys on case strategy and lead your dedicated legal pod (paralegals and legal assistants) in a supportive manner. High‑Quality Output: Review and finalize all legal documentation (pleadings, motions, agreements, judgments, and orders). Client Communication: Provide consistent monthly case updates that summarize progress and next steps for peace of mind. Qualifications Experience & Licensure: Current Washington State Bar license with 2‑5+ years of family law experience. (Trial experience is a plus, but a collaborative mindset is essential).
