The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload involving international family law issues, high-conflict custody disputes, complex divorces, relocation matters, child abduction cases, and financially intricate family law matters.

Manage a caseload involving international family law matters, including child custody disputes, divorce, relocation, child abduction, and complex financial issues.

Develop legal strategies and oversee cases from inception through resolution.

Represent clients in court proceedings, including motions, hearings, and trials.

Represent clients during mediations and arbitrations.

Conduct all phases of discovery, including depositions.

Prepare legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and other written work product.

Perform legal research and provide strategic recommendations.

Build strong relationships with clients while providing compassionate guidance through sensitive legal matters.

Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional client service.

Participate in networking, business development, and marketing initiatives to support the continued growth of the practice.

Qualifications

Active membership in the Washington State Bar.

Minimum of 2 years of Washington family law experience.

Experience handling family law litigation, including courtroom appearances.

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Excellent case management and organizational abilities.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Professional maturity, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment.

Flexibility to collaborate across international time zones when necessary.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
