Family Law Attorney

Fully Remote, Hybrid or Onsite (candidate preference but must live in Washington state) The Family Law group at Reed Longyear is seeking an associate attorney to join our high-volume litigation practice. Reed Longyear is a well-established and long-standing general civil practice firm in downtown Seattle with strong ties to the local community. This position offers the opportunity for an attorney to build courtroom experience in complex and high-net worth family law matters. Our collaborative team provides the support and autonomy needed to take ownership of your cases while continuing to develop your practice. Applicants must have specific knowledge of family law litigation in King County and strong research and writing skills. Applicants must be capable of managing their own cases from consultation to resolution with confidence. The ideal candidate must have specific experience with some or all of the following: family law litigation, dissolution/legal separation, parentage, non-parent custody/minor guardianship, modification of parenting plan/support and domestic violence protection orders. Compensation Reed Longyear offers a competitive pay structure that rewards self-starters and hard workers. The estimated total annual compensation for this role is $160k-$210k, which includes a base salary and fee-sharing component based on collection. There is no waiting period or hours threshold for fee-sharing compensation, and it is paid out biweekly, so attorneys can realize their own productivity as it is collected instead of waiting for year-end.
