Painter/HandymanWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Position SummaryThe Painter/Handyman is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the manufacturing facility through painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep. This role focuses on non-technical, non-maintenance tasks that improve the condition and presentation of the plant. The position supports a safe, clean, and organized work environment by completing a variety of small improvement projects and repairs.Hourly range is $20-$25 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesPerform interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation, patching, sanding, priming, and finishingTouch up walls, floors, equipment, and designated areas throughout the facility to maintain a clean and professional appearanceComplete general handyman tasks such as minor repairs, fixture replacements, basic carpentry, and small improvement projectsRepair or replace items such as doors, locks, trim, shelving, and other non-technical componentsOperate equipment such as scissor lifts safely to complete elevated work assignmentsFollow all company safety procedures and ensure work areas remain safe and organizedIdentify and report larger or technical maintenance issues to the appropriate departmentMaintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working conditionAssist with facility organization and improvement initiatives as neededAdditional duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in painting and general handyman workProven knowledge of painting techniques, tools, materials, and surface preparationExperience performing a variety of general repair and improvement tasksAbility to safely operate a scissor lift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)Basic understanding of workplace safety practicesStrong attention to detail and quality of workAbility to work independently and manage multiple small projectsGood problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to facility upkeepPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 30 pounds regularlyComfortable working at heights using ladders or scissor liftsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperaturesAdditional InformationThis role is not responsible for mechanical or technical maintenance of machinery but plays a key role in maintaining the facility's appearance, safety, and overall condition.This position is subject to policies and procedures set forth by the State Department and applicants who do not meet such requirements will not be eligible for the position.About Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
