We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our PRN therapy team.

Key Responsibilities

As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping residents improve independence and quality of life through therapeutic intervention.

Primary Duties Include:

• Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide direct occupational therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates or changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Accurately document treatments, responses, and progress notes
• Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety strategies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment, including equipment upkeep

Qualifications

• Current and active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
