Senior Data Validation & Business Testing Analyst (Data Products)

We are seeking a Senior Data Validation & Business Testing Analyst to define and execute an end-to-end testing and business validation strategy for enterprise data products. This role will ensure testing coverage across documented use cases, validate data quality and usability, and drive structured UAT practices in partnership with business and technical teams.

This is a high-impact role within a build-phase environment, where processes are still being established. The ideal candidate has experience creating and implementing validation/test frameworks in evolving or ambiguous environments.

Work Location / Schedule

• On-site preferred (on-site-first environment)
• Locations: Central Broward, Juno Beach, or Miami

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an end-to-end testing strategy for enterprise data products across multiple use cases and departments
• Lead business validation / UAT planning and execution, ensuring coverage from source to final output
• Develop and standardize testing artifacts, including: test strategies and approach documentation, test plans, test cases, and requirement traceability, data validation and reconciliation frameworks, defect tracking and reporting processes
• Perform and coordinate data validation and data quality testing (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness)
• Partner with: business teams to define success criteria and expected outcomes, data engineering teams to understand transformations and pipelines, BI/reporting teams to validate dashboards and metrics
• Ensure coverage across the full data lifecycle: ingestion → transformation → storage → reporting/consumption
• Build structure in an evolving environment; create repeatable processes where none exist today

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in data validation, UAT, business analysis, or data quality roles
• Experience leading enterprise UAT / end-to-end testing for data products
• Strong hands-on experience with data validation and data quality testing
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable)
• Experience with data warehousing environments (e.g., Redshift or equivalent)
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI (Tableau also acceptable)
• Strong ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
• Proven experience building frameworks/processes, not just following them

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise data products used for analytics/reporting
• Utility/energy domain experience OR strong prior data quality experience
• Knowledge of data quality concepts (profiling, reconciliation, anomaly detection)
• Experience validating metrics within BI tools and semantic layers
