Senior Accountant

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and 401K plans begin the first of the month Beautiful office in Truist Park area Responsibilities: Prepare and review general ledger journal entries across multiple entities Maintain workpaper schedules for depreciation and amortization, prepaid expenses, & accruals Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations Play an integral role in the month-end close process Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Assist Controller and Director of FP&A with financial reporting Assist with invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management Prepare reporting needed for tax filings and support payroll tax compliance Prepare audit schedules and support the audit process Support M&A accounting, including due diligence and post-close integration Assist with special projects as needed Background: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting 3+ years progressive experience in a staff accountant role Knowledge of GAAP Advanced Microsoft Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required in a fast-paced environment Nice to have: CPA candidate a plus, but not required The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for maintaining financial's, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close across the company's multiple entities.
