An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in IV/Infusion to support pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role involves prescription filling, IV preparation, medication packaging, and inventory management while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Job Type: 13-week contract with potential for contract-to-hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fill prescriptions and intravenous medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter necessary data for prescription processing and reimbursement.
• Assist in prepackaging and final prescription checks, ensuring medications meet quality and safety standards.
• Manage inventory by receiving, rotating medications, updating lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including calibration and cleanliness checks of equipment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Prior experience with IV preparation or infusion pharmacy preferred.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a regulated environment.
