Join a specialized renal and mail order pharmacy as a Staff Pharmacist supporting critical medication management. This opportunity offers a 13-week+ contract role, with potential for permanent placement, based in the Murfreesboro area.


Schedule:

• Two Pharmacists needed for 11:30am-8:00pm shift
• One Pharmacist needed for 1:30pm-10:30pm shift
• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform final prescription verification processes (Pharmacist Verification 1 and 2)
• Confirm the accuracy of medication contents in bottles/boxes
• Verify directions and prescription information against hard copies
• Ensure high-quality patient safety standards in medication dispensation
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system efficiently; note, no automation is in use
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality assurance protocols

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the relevant state
• Experience with mail order or specialty pharmacy operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail in medication verification and process accuracy
• Familiarity with Wellsky or similar pharmacy management systems is beneficial
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
