Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Boston, MA (Remote) . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Requirements Analysis, User Story Documentation, and UI/UX Design, along with a background in the Financial Services and Retirement Services industry.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $73/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Gather, document, and manage business requirements, functional specifications, and detailed user stories .
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to define future-state solutions and business processes.
• Design and develop UI/UX requirements and collaborate with development teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and stakeholder interviews to support business initiatives and solution design.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and project success.
• Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and business impact assessments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Requirements Analysis and User Story Documentation (must-have).
• Experience with UI/UX design principles, wireframing, and user-centered design approaches.
• Experience within the Financial Services and Retirement Services industry.
• Advanced proficiency with Business Process Analysis Tools.
• Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Business Process Design and Process Optimization.
• Knowledge of Business Model Strategy and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting retirement services, wealth management, investment management, or financial planning platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and product development lifecycles.
• Experience collaborating with UX designers, product owners, and development teams.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $73.00 per hour
