The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center (Formally Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center) located in Lewis Center, Ohio is searching for a Housekeeper Supervisor to join our team!

Job Summary:

Assists with directing, supervising and maximizing the efforts of the entire Housekeeping Department to ensure compliance with all standards of customer satisfaction, cleanliness, productivity and efficiency set by the hotel.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist in training of all associates in the department.
2. Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean according to hotel standards.
3. Assist with cleaning and inspecting rooms.
4. Assist in a continuous and progressive general clean program for all guest rooms.
5. Ensure department employees were proper designated uniforms at all times.
6. Be familiar with hotel services, amenities, and outlets.
7. Scheduling
8. Ensuring associates have sufficient supplies and inventories.
9. Coordinate and make sure special guest requests are met.
10. Accommodate guest/departmental needs/requests by responding to requests
11. Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
12. Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned
13. Authorise to enter in guestrooms for cleaning and providing turndown services as per requirement
14. Responsible for following the standard operating procedures
15. Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score
16. Help other colleagues to accomplish shift/assigned job duties
17. Confirm with front desk once tasks are complete
18. Great attention to details
19. Able to follow basic instructions
20. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the department

1. Able to lift 50 plus pounds, climb ladder, stand and walk for long periods of time.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Housekeeping experience preferred.
