Full Time Position

St. Agatha is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to lead our vibrant Child Care Program. This position oversees all aspects of the parish's School Age Child Care (SACC) program and summer camp, including planning, administration, and daily operations. St. Agatha provides before- and after-school care for children in grades K-8, as well as an engaging eight-week summer camp program.

The Director manages enrollment and tuition collection, recruits and supervises staff, and develops age-appropriate activities that foster a safe, enriching, and enjoyable environment for children.

The right candidate will be warm, friendly, creative, enthusiastic, and organized. This position is full time and year-round.

Qualifications for the position include:
1. Must be age 21 or older.

2. Have a degree in child development, early childhood education, child psychology or a related field.

3. Minimum two years' experience in a day care or childcare setting preferred.

4. Must have initiative, discretion, confidentiality and judgment when making decisions.

5. Must have organizational, interpersonal, mathematical, and communication skills.

6. Satisfactory FBI and BCI background checks

7. Must have computer skills, to include proficiency in Microsoft Office.

8. Current first aid, communicable disease and child abuse certificate.

9. Successful completion of Protecting God's Children session.
