Project and Materials Coordinator I

Overview Olympus Controls ( is a fast-paced automation company that has an opportunity for a Project & Materials Coordinator I to join our growing team. Responsibilities Project planning and management, which includes but is not limited to: Creating a project plan with critical milestones Procurement and material tracking Tracking resources and project timelines Project updates to the sales team Machine shop production order creation/closing in SAP Inventory management, including receiving and stocking materials Item (part numbers), Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing management in an ERP system Assist in the review of quotes Assembly drawing reviews Assist with assembly of prototypes Process BOM and drawing changes (red lines) Source components and component specifications Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Experience Project coordination/planning experience desired ERP (SAP) experience a plus Strong attention to detail A self-starter who’s able to work independently, with supervision Ability to stay organized and handle multiple projects at once Possess time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Ability to receive feedback on work performed and implement changes accordingly Self-check work for completeness and accuracy Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds Teamwork oriented High school diploma or equivalent required In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $30.00 - $43.60/hour depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
