Sr Production Supervisor

The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and assigning the activities of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving P&L results. This position supervises production operations within an assigned areas or during assigned shifts. 1st Shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday to Friday Pay: $65,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year (depending on level of prior experience) Duties and Responsibilities * Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment. * Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. * Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations. * Responsible for workforce planning and manpower forecasting to align staffing levels with production goals and business objectives. * Deliver clear and concise information during shift transition meetings, ensuring the next shift is prepared for success.

• Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
• Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance

metrics. * Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are promptly resolved. * Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment. * Assists in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling.

• Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required.
• Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that

department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately. * Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding company and departmental procedures, development opportunities, and departmental processes. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors. * All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports Required Skills and Experience * 4-5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a high volume production environment. * Capable problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement. * Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication.

• Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• General knowledge of OSHA Standards.

Preferred Skills and Experience * Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.

• Supervising temporary staff.
• Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
• Ability to develop and articulate a clear strategic vision.
