Your leadership will help us stay grounded in our Core Values while pushing the brand toward what's next.About the Role:As an Assistant Store Manager at 7 Leaves Café, you support the Store Manager in driving daily operations, developing team members, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You lead by example on the floor, help maintain product quality and service standards, and foster a positive, high-performing team culture.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about hospitality, and is eager to grow into higher levels of leadership while making a meaningful impact in their community.Location: Onsite, 12002 Harbor Blvd.Salary Range: $21.50-$23.00 hourly (Non-Exempt)What We Offer:Team Member Discounts - Enjoy your favorite handcrafted drinks on and off the clockComprehensive Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision plans available for eligible team membersLeadership Development - Hands-on training, mentorship, and professional growth pathwaysA Supportive, Creative Culture - Join a team that values authenticity, collaboration, and funWhat You'll DoTeam Leadership & Staff SupportAssist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.Help create and manage staff schedules to support operational needs and labor goals.Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members during shifts.Coach and motivate staff by offering ongoing feedback and development opportunities.Participate in performance evaluations and support team accountability and growth.Customer ExperienceLead by example on the floor by delivering exceptional service and reinforcing a "customer comes first" mindset.Address customer concerns promptly and ensure high levels of satisfaction.Support the execution of customer service initiatives, promotions, and loyalty programs.Operations & Store EnvironmentAssist with daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.Help maintain store cleanliness, organization, and a safe working environment.Support compliance with health, safety, and operational regulations.Assist in managing inventory levels, product quality, and stock replenishment.Sales & Business PerformanceHelp monitor daily sales performance and key business indicators.Assist with cash handling, financial reporting, and sales tracking.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support action plans to drive store performance.Training & DevelopmentSupport the training and development of team members to uphold 7 Leaves Café standars and procedures.Provide in-the-moment coaching and guidance to ensure consistency in service and product quality.Marketing & Community EngagementAssist in implementing marketing initiatives and in-store promotions.Support local community engagement efforts and store events.Engage with customers both in-store and through brand-related activities.Reporting & Administrative SupportAssist the Store Manager in preparing sales, labor, and inventory reports.Help track team performance and operational metrics to provide insights for improvement.Leadership SupportStep in to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring smooth operations and team alignment.Collaborate with Store Managers, District Managers, and leadership to support company initiatives and operational goals.Perform other duties as assigned.What You BringHave at least 6 months -1 year of customer service experience, preferably in retail or food service; prior leadership or key-holder experience preferred.Must be able to work at assigned locations within the district or county, as needed.Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Possess developing leadership skills and the ability to support coaching and development of team members.Have a strong team well-being and customer-focused mindset, with an understanding of sales and operational goals.Be eager to learn, grow, and apply constructive feedback from leadership.Able to support store operations and assist in leading the team effectively in a fast-paced environment.Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining established service levels.Able to provide constructive feedback to team members and escalate or assist with conflict resolution when needed.Show interest in developing leadership skills and growing into future leadership roles within the organization.Able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for prolonged periods.Must be able to regularly lift at least 45 lbs.7 Leaves Cafe Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
