A leading commercial construction company is growing its Atlanta-based team and is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their preconstruction group. This is a great opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys working with plans, developing accurate estimates, collaborating with subcontractors, and helping bring major commercial projects from concept to reality. What You'll Do Prepare detailed budgets, estimates, and bid proposals for commercial construction projects Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids Develop and review Comparisons of Bid (COBs) Assist with subcontractor scope development and preliminary negotiations Participate in constructability and design-assist reviews Collaborate with Operations, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders Assist with procurement strategies and subcontractor selection Support preliminary scheduling and project planning Help ensure complete and timely delivery of budget and bid packages Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of commercial construction experience 3+ years of preconstruction/estimating experience preferred Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, scopes, and pricing Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced preconstruction environment Software Experience Experience with the following is a plus: Subcontractor solicitation and evaluation platforms Location Atlanta, Georgia Occasional travel to jobsites and other office locations may be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Metric DCX
