Java Developer with C++

We are looking for a candidate with Java as primary skills and C++ as secondary. Java and C++ both are must have skills. The candidate has to be very good in Java (Spring, Spring Boot) with some C++ knowledge is suitable for this requirement.

Required Skills: Skills listed by customer Most important skills, in decreasing order of importance:

• C++ programmer (for normalization / ENS), AWS
• Java, Spring and Spring Boot; Maven/Gradle knowledge
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithm, concurrent programming experience
• Experience with streaming computations and message passing
• Apache Flink
• General SQL; InfluxDB specifically would be nice.
• Kafka (preferably) or other queuing technologies
• General skills that would be useful:
• AWS in general; More specifically: S3, Lambda, ECS
• DevOps: Git, Jenkins, CloudFormation, CodePipeline
• General Bash, Python skills
• Caching technologies, e.g. Elasticache, Redis
• Perhaps elasticsearch
• Nice-to-have:
• Experience with data sets and data formats (Elektron real-time, RWF, UPA, DataScope Select, etc.)
• Knowledge of market data, exchanges, financial terms, etc.
• Experience with business processes (e.g. ServiceNow)

Experience: 3 to 5 years hands on experience in designing, building and implementing Microservices, REST APIs, in AWS Domain Driven Design and Test Driven development experience Experience in agile project team as agile project team member

Job description:

• Assess current components and analyze for re-architecting, design, develop, implement data processing in AWS adhering to AWS best practices
• Design & Develop application and data processing components / microservices / REST APIs
• Design and develop server-less components and code for Lambda, EMR steps in java or Python
• Appropriately leverage the AWS services for relevant on-prem workload
• Should assess, validate and make technical decisions proactively during development and document and put forward the pros and cons.
• Streaming market data ingestion and normalization
• Data ingestion into databases such as InfluxDB
• Computation of analytics via SQL and streaming Flink jobs
• Handling necessary reference and metadata
• API layer in Spring Boot

Education/Certifications: BS in Computer Science or similar degree Skills C++, Java, AWS, 3 to 5 years hands on experience in designing, building and implementing Microservices, REST APIs, in AWS
