CL&D, a division of ProMach, has an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Specialist based in Hartland, WI. This is a hybrid role, three days in the office and two days at home.

At CL&D, the IT Support Specialist provides hands-on technical support for employees, business applications, network infrastructure, and manufacturing technology. In this role, you'll troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and security issues while helping ensure our technology operates reliably across our office and production environments.

At CL&D, the IT Support Specialist provides hands-on technical support for employees, business applications, network infrastructure, and manufacturing technology. In this role, you'll troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and security issues while helping ensure our technology operates reliably across our office and production environments.
What you'll do

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices
• Support Apple technology, including MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups within Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, email, and printing issues
• Deploy and maintain hardware and software according to company standards
• Support manufacturing technology, including barcode scanners, label printers, production workstations, and shop floor systems
• Assist with server, network, and infrastructure maintenance
• Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and equipment inventory records
• Support endpoint security, antivirus, patch management, and cybersecurity initiatives
• Assist with technology-related onboarding and offboarding activities
• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and technology implementations
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party support providers when additional assistance is needed
• Provide responsive customer service and clear technical guidance to employees [Document4 | Word]

Who you'll work with

You'll support employees throughout CL&D's office and manufacturing environments while working closely with other members of the IT team. You'll also coordinate with outside vendors and third-party support providers when necessary to resolve issues and support technology projects. [Document4 | Word]
What we're looking for

• Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical employees
• Ability to prioritize requests, manage time effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively
• A desire to continue learning and expanding your technical knowledge [Document4 | Word], [Document4 | Word]

Additional experience that would be helpful

• Experience supporting technology in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP, production, or shop floor systems
• Experience using endpoint management tools such as Intune, N-able, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Experience supporting macOS and Apple mobile devices
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Apple certifications
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
