About the Role: As a Business Analyst supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to identify workflow bottlenecks and process inefficiencies across a fast-growing national program, then design and implement enhancements that improve consistency and throughput. You will maintain audit-ready documentation and governance artifacts, ensuring program materials remain traceable and compliant as investment decisions move through review. Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Work closely with technical SMEs, program managers, and mission‑unit leadership to identify workflow bottlenecks, evaluate process inefficiencies, and propose and implement enhancements that improve consistency and throughput across program activities Assist in the development and management of standard operating procedures, templates, guidance documents, and workflow diagrams used across analysis, engineering, and program management functions Perform data validation and completeness checks across documents, datasets, and analytic outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Federal client’s quality standards Prepare draft and final program documentation - including summaries, briefing materials, governance packages, and process descriptions - for review by technical leaders, managers, and executives Maintain disciplined document control practices, versioning, and structured repository organization to ensure that program materials are discoverable, traceable, and compliant with audit and oversight requirements Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive Location: You will work as part of a primarily remote team, with occasional in-person meetings at headquarters locations in Washington, DC; Reston, VA; Arlington, VA; or Boulder, CO. Required Experience/Skills: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in business analysis, workflow development, process mapping, or program operations within a technical, data‑driven, or telecommunications environment. Experience supporting programs with rapid workload growth, complex governance processes, or multi‑stakeholder decision workflows. Experience in working with technical SMEs, program managers, and leadership to identify workflow bottlenecks, propose improvements, and implement enhanced processes. Experience with maintaining audit‑ready artifacts that document investment decisions, supporting evidence, dependencies, and outcomes, and document management.
