Assistant Clinical Director
Experienced healthcare professionals, including PA-Cs, NPs, or OPA-Cs, with strong leadership skills and orthopedic expertise. Oversee patient care and manage providers and clinical staff in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic. Immediate need for full-time roles. Based in Atlanta, GA, with limited travel requirements. Job Purpose
The Assistant Clinical Director serves as a provider while also managing the clinical and provider staff at their designated office, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to treatment protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all patient treatment and ensure schedules are optimized to identify surgical candidates.
- Communicate surgical candidate information to senior leadership daily.
- Act as a resource for less experienced providers and escalate issues as necessary.
- Manage clinical staff time, attendance, and PTO; monitor daily performance and address concerns.
- Review staff notes and treatment plans for compliance with established standards.
Job Requirements
- Licensed PA-C, NP, or OPA-C with at least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics.
- Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures, post-op care, and treatment protocols.
- Proficient in Salesforce, NextGen, Office 365, Power BI, and other EHR systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
Education & Certifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Nurse Practitioner, or related field.
- Current certification as a PA, NP, or Orthopedic Physician Assistant.
- Active licensure in Georgia.
