Market andservice accounts (new and existing) in a way that fosters new business development and existing client perpetuation. Processclient requests for service; gather necessary information for submission; verify and maintain account files. Must be able tohandle an account and sell policies from beginning to end as well as maintain compliance responses for accounts sold. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functionalareas to cover absences, equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.* ALL DUTIES OF ACCOUNT MANAGER I* Maintain a book of business > $200,000 in revenue* Assist sales representatives and/or initiate sales calls* Manage client accounts* Market existing and new accounts; negotiation with company underwriters; present best options* Maintain all records* Review monthly renewals in advance.* Prepare and maintain relevant reports* Good written and verbal communication* Ability to interact & communicate positively with co-workers* Any other duties as appropriate and assigned by management**LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS*** MUST hold current Property and Casualty License in resident state; includes maintaining by meeting all continuation education and other requirements* Must have CISR designation**WORK & EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:*** 5+ years’ insurance experience* High school diploma or equivalency; some college preferred**TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:*** Department Specific Training – All Modules* Microsoft Office Applications* Office Etiquette* Ethics* Time Management* Advanced Customer Service* Basic Leadership Skills* E&O Basics**ADDITIONAL/PREFERRED*** CIC Designation or similar insurance designation* Advanced Leadership Skills* Life and Disability License* Any additional designations/specializations* Supervise support team* Participate in training of new hires or less experienced teammatesDepartment Account Management & ServiceRequired Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experienceRequired Travel: No Travel RequiredRequired Education: High school or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr
