Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wellness exams, diagnostic workups, and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Conduct routine soft tissue surgeries, including spays, neuters, and mass removals.
• Perform dental procedures, digital dental X-ray interpretations, and preventative oral care.
• Interpret diagnostic radiographs and laboratory results accurately.
• Educate clients compassionately on treatment options, preventative medicine, and ongoing pet wellness.
• Collaborate seamlessly with an experienced and leveraged veterinary support team to maintain a smooth daily workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
• Licensure: Active California Veterinary License (or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to starting).
• Clinical Skills: Comfortable handling a fast-paced general practice caseload and performing routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and client communication skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Rotational Saturday schedule
• Closed Sundays and major holidays (No emergencies or overnights!)
