Structured Finance Mid-Level Associate Attorney
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $310,000 – $390,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
Direct Counsel is seeking a Structured Finance Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join a top-tier national law firm’s Structured Finance practice in its New York office.
The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of structured finance experience at a law firm, with a focus on structured finance, lending, securitization , or similar finance structures, primarily in residential asset finance and other consumer finance–related industries . Experience across a variety of asset types and structures is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Advising on structured finance transactions, lending arrangements, and securitizations
Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and related agreements
Collaborating with deal teams on complex structured finance matters
Advising clients on compliance and regulatory aspects of structured finance transactions
Qualifications:
3–6 years of relevant structured finance experience at a law firm
Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
Excellent academic credentials
Admission to the New York Bar (required)
