Data & AI Engineer / Developer

Location: Montreal, QC

Required Experience

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, and AI-enabled Development
Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, SQL, Python , and Cloud technologies
Experience building scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-native data solutions
Practical experience using Generative AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot to improve software development and automation

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize enterprise data solutions using Snowflake as the primary cloud data platform.
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models to support analytics and reporting.
Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines , data integration, and automation solutions using Python .
Design secure, reliable, and high-performance cloud-based data architectures.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and application developers to deliver data-driven solutions.
Leverage Claude , Microsoft Copilot , and other AI tools to accelerate development, automate workflows, improve code quality, and enhance productivity.
Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, security, and performance optimization .
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize existing data solutions, and continuously improve platform performance.
Evaluate emerging cloud, data engineering, and AI technologies to drive innovation.
