We help you make better parts, less expensively.Summary of ResponsibilityThe Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of machine tool equipment, controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) and other components purchased by customers. This position works independently to ensure the highest level of quality and customer service satisfaction.What You Will ContributeTraveling to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls for customer organizationsUtilizing machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issuesEnsuring proper documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regards to status of machine issues, repairs, and installationPromoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting after-sales technical support and trainingPossessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the companyPerform related duties as required.
