The organization is committed to long-term relationships, customer care, and superior service. Role Description The Sales Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Tuscaloosa, AL. This position is responsible for supporting agency sales and service activities by responding to customer inquiries, processing policy changes, handling billing questions, and assisting with claims-related calls. The role includes explaining coverage options, preparing quotes, and helping customers select appropriate insurance products that align with their needs. The Sales Service Representative will maintain accurate records, use agency management systems, and collaborate closely with agents and team members to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience. Daily activities also involve following established procedures, meeting service and sales goals, and contributing to a professional and welcoming office environment. Qualifications Customer service and client support skills, with the ability to listen actively, respond clearly, and build positive relationships. Sales and cross-selling skills, including comfort discussing insurance products, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate solutions. Administrative and office skills, such as data entry accuracy, recordkeeping, and proficiency with common office software and agency systems. Communication skills, including professional verbal and written communication and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms. Problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work on-site in Tuscaloosa, AL, as a dependable team member who collaborates effectively with colleagues and leadership. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
