Inside Sales Associate

Job Description Inside Sales We are a highly recognized fastener distributor that serves a large number of customers across a wide variety of industries nationwide. We have a physical presence in both Carolinas and branches in all five major metropolitan markets, and a new branch in Pittsburg, Kansas. We are currently searching for an Inside Sales Associate to join our Charlotte, NC branch and become part of a growing industrial fastener distribution leader. Responsibilities and Duties (may include but not limited to) Communicates with customers and processes order/quote information Completes data entry for customer orders and quotes Provides requested information to customers including pricing, stock availability, and order status Develops and continues maintenance of new and long-standing relationships with both external and internal parties Requisition product, which includes: locating suppliers, validating pricing, and requisitioning material Skills Ability to work and succeed in a team environment Demonstrate strong customer service skills including clear verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate good organizational skills including coordination, planning and personal time management Demonstrate basic data entry and math skills, including ability to read standard and metric measurements on an array of measuring tools Understand and implement internal reporting and documentation requirements for inventory control, customer service and equipment maintenance Demonstrate that he/she is dependable and can work independently Qualifications Must have fastener knowledge and experience High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Proven industrial distribution and previous inside sales/customer service experience preferred Experience with warehouse data systems or willingness to develop necessary skills and ability Ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds Benefits Competitive Compensation Package aligned with experience Medical, Vision and optional Dental Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Life Insurance Profit-Sharing Paid time off Paid holiday time Fastener Supply Co. is a drug‑free workplace.
