Mechanical Drafter

Our client, a leading organization in the electrical and industrial solutions sector, is looking for a Mechanical Drafter to join their Engineering Department. The role is located in Charleroi, PA and pays $29.39 per hour. The position is a temporary, full‑time assignment. Responsibilities Perform mechanical drafting using current‑generation AutoCAD software to create precise drawings. Generate, modify, and organize general arrangement and physical outline drawings for customer approval and manufacturing of circuit breaker products. Convert CAD files as needed to ensure compatibility and accuracy across platforms. Utilize ProEngineer to generate 3D models for customer circuit breakers upon request. Review mechanical and electrical drawing packages for technical and typographical errors to ensure quality and compliance. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school in Drafting, 3D Modeling, or Mechanical Design. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with mechanical CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Pro‑E. Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and documentation processes. Ability to manage and maintain engineering drawing files within document‑management systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to meet project deadlines.
