Mechanical Drafter

Work Model: Fully On-Site (Charleroi, Pennsylvania) Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible) Interview Process 1 Round (Potential 2nd Round) Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical drafting using current-generation AutoCAD software. Generate, modify, and maintain general arrangement and physical outline drawings for customer approval and manufacturing purposes. Convert CAD files as required. Create and maintain 3D models using Creo/Pro-E or similar 3D design software. Review mechanical and electrical drawing packages for technical accuracy and typographical errors. Prepare approval drawings, as‑built drawings, test reports, and supporting documentation for customer submittals. Manage and maintain engineering drawing files within a document management system. Prepare device tag files and related documentation to support planning and procurement activities. Update order‑tracking databases with accurate and timely information. Support Production, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Quality teams as needed. Ensure compliance with applicable company standards, engineering specifications, and industry regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate Degree, Diploma, or Technical Certification in Drafting, Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, 3D Modeling, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical or electrical engineering environment. Experience creating and modifying engineering drawings and technical documentation. Required Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD . Experience with at least one 3D CAD software: Creo / Pro‑E SolidWorks NX (UG) Ability to create and modify 3D models and assemblies. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and document control processes. Ability to review drawings for accuracy and support manufacturing‑related documentation. Must‑Have Skills Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical or electrical field. Hands‑on experience with 3D design tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or NX (UG) . Proficiency in AutoCAD .
