This contract opportunity is designed for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who enjoys a flexible work schedule and collaborating directly with occupational therapists (OTs). You’ll be instrumental in assisting OTs with their caseloads and ensuring ongoing support for students’ therapeutic needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), licensed in Kansas or eligible for Kansas licensure.
• Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred, but motivated new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with supervising OTs and multiple school sites.
• Reliable transportation—willingness to travel between 1-3 assigned campuses weekly.
• Ability to work independently while receiving direction and supervision from registered OTs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect therapy services under the guidance of supervising occupational therapists.
• Support student participation in functional, developmental, and academic activities as outlined in individualized education programs.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records for each student served.
• Collaborate with educational staff and OTs to adapt classroom materials or activities for individual student needs.
• Organize and manage weekly travel to assigned campuses. Your schedule will be self-determined in collaboration with your team.
