As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll collaborate with occupational therapists in managing caseloads and delivering top-notch support services for students across 1-3 campuses. With a flexible schedule determined by your availability, you'll ensure every assigned site receives your expertise weekly.

In this contract role, you'll play a critical part in helping students build essential daily living and academic skills. Working under the guidance of district occupational therapists, you’ll directly impact students' success and well-being, all while having autonomy over your service calendar.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with OTs, educators, and families
• Ability to work independently across multiple assignments
• Organizational skills to manage schedules for up to three campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision
• Travel weekly to all assigned school sites as scheduled
• Document student progress and collaborate with supervising OTs on goals
• Support students in attaining functional independence in academic and social settings
• Adjust and implement therapy plans as directed by supervising OTs
