Job Details: Level: Management | Location: SnowMountainRanch– Granby, CO80446 | Position Type: Year‑Round Jobs | Salary Range: $21.50 – $25.50 per hour | Job Category: Conference/Guest Services Position Summary SnowMountainRanch is hiring two Guest Registration Managers focusing on Night Audit responsibilities, working four 10‑hour shifts each week. The role supports the YMCA of the Rockies, providing mission‑based family and group conference and retreat services, and a residential camp. Night Auditors will handle computer programs, audit accounting transactions, provide guest services from 9:30PM to 8:00AM, answer the switchboard, check in late arrivals, dispatch staff, and communicate with emergency dispatchers and other staff for medical, fire, law‑enforcement emergencies and power outages. Guest Registration Managers will train and supervise Front Desk staff during overlapping hours, conduct nightly income audits, correct guest folios, coordinate with AM/PM shift staff, ensure shift checklists are completed, and bridge communication between shifts to maintain continuous guest service. Essential Functions Night Audit Able to work alone and remain alert between 9:30PM and 8:00AM for four 10‑hour shifts per week; shifts may include weekends and holidays. Operate the Property Management System and associated credit‑card batching functionality as part of the overall night audit process. Apply good accounting principles to review and reconcile daily financial transactions, including counting operational cash, finalizing bank deposits, and running end‑of‑day reports. Assist with emergencies and other major concerns involving guests and employees that arise during assigned shifts. Accurately communicate in verbal and written form, including completing emergency and incident reports, service logs and emails to management regarding significant events. Operate two‑way radios and the switchboard, with correct telephone etiquette and processing of guest and staff requests. Act as a tactful liaison between group leaders/guests and all departments providing service to them. Explain contract details and billing to guests and group leaders. Appropriately and timely handle emergencies. Review and understand computer‑generated reports and update Excel spreadsheets and logs. Operate office printing, postage equipment and process orders and invoices for office supplies. Complete the month‑end and year‑end auditing process. Guest Registration Manager Assist with hiring, supervising, scheduling and evaluation of up to 15 Guest Registration seasonal staff and volunteers. Assist with training for new staff working the Front Desk, especially in areas related to Night Audit/overnight coverage, income audit, and invoice reconciliation. Provide oversight on Night Audit responsibilities, keeping supervisors informed of issues and challenges that arise overnight. Cover primarily the PM/Income Audit shift, and may occasionally be called upon to cover management of other shifts. Complete or supervise a cycle that includes, but is not limited to, counting cash boxes, handling large sums of revenue, and making nightly deposits; confirm the accuracy of deposited income and run end‑of‑day reports. Process petty cash and payroll advance requests. Resolve guest concerns effectively. Work with management and director‑level staff to update and develop training information and programs for the Guest Services Department. Ensure that the Business Office vault is secure and the proper balance is maintained. Ensure accurate charges to guest folios, as well as timely billing when necessary. Ensure cashiers accurately compile daily bank deposits. Contribute to a consistent guest‑satisfaction environment. Assist supervisors with completion of appropriate paperwork such as Personnel Action Forms, staff evaluations, and disciplinary actions, and communicate with Human Resources to maintain accurate staff information. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements / Qualifications Associate’s degree or college‑level coursework in hospitality, business, or accounting preferred; candidates with a combination of education and experience will also be considered. At least one year of management experience, preferably in the hospitality or business/accounting industry, strongly preferred; training provided for Night Audit responsibilities. Excellent reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English. Reliable attendance; consistent punctuality and advanced notice for time off are required. Ability to operate common office equipment (copiers, printers, switchboard, business radio, etc.). Ability to perform any other relevant and reasonable tasks assigned. Work Environment & Physical Demands Must be able to stay alert during overnight shifts between 9:30PM and 8:00AM. Must sit, stand, get up and down frequently, and walk during a shift.
