Facility: BayCare Health System Outreach Lab Client Services-AMB Location: HomeCare Largo - REMOTE after training Status: Full Time Exempt: No Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No Responsibilities: The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for: Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens Referring specimens to outside laboratories Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests Performance of phlebotomy procedures Performs other duties as assigned Experience: Required - 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field Education: Required High School or equivalent Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience Credentials: Driver's License Credential equivalent experience: Preferred Phlebotomy BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including: Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Paid Time Off Tuition Assistance 401K Match and additional yearly contribution Community perks and discounts Annual performance appraisals and team award bonus Family resources and wellness opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr Baycare
