Pathologist Center Medical DirectorWe are a global healthcare leader and a pioneer in the plasma derivatives industry. We are seeking a licensed Pathologist to serve as our part-time Center Medical Director. This role is ideal for a practicing or retired medical professional looking for a minimal-time commitment. You will provide essential clinical oversight, review laboratory quality control, and ensure regulatory compliance for our plasma collection facility.Key Responsibilities:Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the designated Medical/Laboratory Director to satisfy CLIA, FDA, and state regulations.Quality Review: Conduct monthly reviews of center laboratory quality control logs, proficiency testing, and center safety protocols.Donor & Staff Support: Review complex donor suitability cases, oversee medical staff training certifications, and address any infrequent adverse event reports.Audit Preparation: Ensure the center remains audit-ready for internal, federal, and state regulatory inspections.Qualifications & Education:Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO).Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of operation.Schedule & Compensation:Hours: Approximately 2 hours per week total.Flexibility: Work hours are highly flexible.
