Pathologist Center Medical DirectorWe are a global healthcare leader and a pioneer in the plasma derivatives industry. We are seeking a licensed Pathologist to serve as our part-time Center Medical Director. This role is ideal for a practicing or retired medical professional looking for a minimal-time commitment. You will provide essential clinical oversight, review laboratory quality control, and ensure regulatory compliance for our plasma collection facility.Key Responsibilities:Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the designated Medical/Laboratory Director to satisfy CLIA, FDA, and state regulations.Quality Review: Conduct monthly reviews of center laboratory quality control logs, proficiency testing, and center safety protocols.Donor & Staff Support: Review complex donor suitability cases, oversee medical staff training certifications, and address any infrequent adverse event reports.Audit Preparation: Ensure the center remains audit-ready for internal, federal, and state regulatory inspections.Qualifications & Education:Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO).Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of operation.Schedule & Compensation:Hours: Approximately 2 hours per week total.Flexibility: Work hours are highly flexible. Monthly hours can be scheduled at your convenience during center operational hours to fit your existing medical practice or personal schedule.If you would like to learn more apply to our job post!
