Principal for New Insurance Agency
Job Summary

Seeking a highly talented, entrepreneurial, and experienced professional to lead the establishment and growth of a new insurance agency. This is a unique ground-floor opportunity to build and shape an agency from the ground up, leveraging an existing portfolio. This role offers significant autonomy, equity opportunities, and the chance to align interests with a highly experienced and successful leadership team.

Responsibilities

Lead the establishment and growth of a new insurance agency, leveraging an existing portfolio
Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure the agency's success
Oversee all aspects of agency operations, including management, development, and finance
Build and foster a culture that aligns with the values of the leadership team
Drive organic growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
Collaborate with a highly experienced team of principals to align interests and achieve shared goals
Ensure the agency operates with financial prudence and strategic foresight

Qualifications/Requirements

Proven experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of carrier relationships and business operations
Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building or growing successful ventures
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and align a team
Familiarity with the Southeast culture and business environment is highly preferred
Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with the leadership team's vision
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to be based in Birmingham, AL, or open to candidates outside the area who can integrate seamlessly into the team and culture in the Southeast.
