Position Overview: Join our dynamic team at SSC Advisors, Inc., and SSC CPAs P.A., where we are actively seeking a talented and dedicated Tax Associate. Qualifications: Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills Dedication to client service meets internal and external client deliverables. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong working knowledge of general accounting and accounting systems Understanding of the technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance Responsibilities: Tax return preparation and/or review based on qualifications Respond to IRS and State tax notices. Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations. Complete state and local tax filings. Ensure returns are prepared accurately and filed timely. Communicate directly with clients to request information and answer questions. Build and maintain client relationships. Manage multiple engagements and deadlines during tax season. Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
