Position: Cook 2 Location: Ballard Brew Hall – Seattle‑Tacoma International Airport Salary: $26.36 / hour Hiring immediately; opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities Follows recipes, checks portion, garnishes and presents dishes ordered. Sets up kitchen/workstation properly each shift; prepares orders, stores fresh, dry, frozen goods, condiments, supplies. Handles, stores and rotates stored products properly. Manages setup, regular maintenance, cleaning and proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines. Supplies stocks, cuts and stores perishable goods daily to maintain quality. Puts utensils used during shift in place, cleans and tidies workplace and storage areas (including refrigerators and freezers); empties, cleans and stores bins. Practices general and specific cleanings using appropriate products as indicated by manager to meet hygiene standards. Follows manager instructions during closing; checks stock before leaving to ensure everything is in order. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year experience in a food service environment. High school diploma preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic mathematical skills. Food handler’s permit as required by law. Brand certification as required. Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods. Benefits Medical benefits for employees working 80+ hours per month ($50.00 / month employee cost).
