Family Medicine PhysicianLocation: Long Island City / Queens, New YorkJob Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Direct HireA dedicated community healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join its health center in Long Island City, New York.This direct-hire position provides comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population spanning pediatric, adolescent, and adult care. Working in both a clinic setting and partner community sites, you will deliver full-scope family medicine, supervise advanced practice providers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to advance health equity and preventative care in the community.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide primary medical care, comprehensive well-care examinations, physicals, and gynecological care across pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populationsDiagnose acute and chronic conditions, write prescriptions, and inform patients regarding prescribed treatment plansDirect the course of patient medical treatment, answer clinical inquiries, and manage electronic health record (EHR) documentationSupervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with collaborative practice agreements, providing clinical guidance and technical supportCoordinate care through specialist referrals, case management, on-site behavioral health, and community advocacy resourcesParticipate in rotated shared call coverage, peer reviews, clinical guideline development, and quality improvement initiativesQualificationsMedical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine; active DEA registrationActive, unrestricted New York State Medical License AND active status as a New York State Individual Medicaid ProviderMinimum of 2 years of clinical Family Medicine experience requiredBilingual fluency in Spanish or other languages is preferredBenefits PackageCompetitive guaranteed annual base salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurance coverageVacation days, sick time, and paid organization holidaysEmployer-sponsored retirement savings programProfessional liability coverage providedDedicated CME stipend and paid time for educational activitiesFull HIM, intake, and medical assistant support to streamline patient careNote on Compensation & Hiring Requirements: Final financial and benefits packages will be verified during the hiring process.
