Boston Public Schools seeks a highly qualified ESL Teacher to join our community. We are committed to high expectations for achievement, equitable access to instruction, and closing achievement gaps. BPS offers a supportive environment that values creativity, innovation, and skills development. Responsibilities Provide ESL instruction to Multilingual Learners identified as English Learners. Collaborate with content teachers to support students' English language development and classroom needs. Work with instructional leadership to ensure ELL students receive necessary support. Assist with ACCESS administration and ELL student transition meetings. Plan and deliver lessons aligned with WIDA standards, catering to varying proficiency levels. Use culturally relevant practices and integrate technology into instruction. Administer state and local assessments for ELL students as appropriate. Participate in professional development to stay current with ELL strategies.
