This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on providing essential speech therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs, from early childhood through elementary and secondary school. You’ll have the chance to work with a variety of caseloads—from moderate to profound—aligned with your expertise and interests. What you bring:
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in New York
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Comfort and ability to work with K–12 students
- Skills in developing, implementing, and adapting individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Team-player mindset and a passion for fostering student growth
What you’ll do:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and design therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services, individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic student support
- Stay current on best practices to continually enhance your clinical skills
