Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator (UC) Intensive Care Unit

City/State: Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: Third (Nights) Overview Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator (UC) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Full-time, night shift (36 hours per week). Department / Position Details The ICU is a 24-bed general ICU that also services trauma, neurological, CRRT, and cardiac patients. The RN will receive onboarding classes such as EVD, rapid infusion, pacemaker, Swan-Ganz, and balloon pump/Impella. Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area. Provide clinical leadership for delivery of nursing care in the department. Under the direction of the department manager, lead safety and quality initiatives, simplify workflow, and contribute to staff development. Increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service. Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent registered nursing diploma. Licensure: Registered Nursing licensure. Experience: Minimum 18 months of RN experience in a related specialty.
