Area Managers train new associates on the requirements of the job including but not limited to quality control, product knowledge, product rotation, proper picking, Company policies, procedures and using United's computer systems. Successful Area Managers are self-motivated, communicative and thrive in work environments requiring collaboration, team work, interpersonal skills and managing conflict.QualificationsMust be 21 years or olderBachelor's degree or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university; or High School Diploma or GED plus three (3) or more years related experience in transportation, delivery, or warehousePrior experience in and an understanding of Warehouse and Warehouse operationsAble to learn and maintain knowledge of company and productsWorking knowledge of computerized hand-held devices Responsibilities: Manage a team of warehouse associates overseeing proper product inventory, staging, rotation, breakdown, replenishment, returns, order fulfillment and quality control.
