Schedule Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, infectious diseases, and more. This role involves working in a certified stroke center, and prioritization will be given to candidates with PCU training. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Provide care and monitoring for pre and post-operative patients. Manage and interpret data for patients presenting with CVA and other critical conditions. Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Perform necessary procedures such as blood product administration, tracheostomy care, and management of IVs and chest tubes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a PCU, Medsurg, or a telemetry unit. Current New York State RN license is required in hand to submit. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is mandatory. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with Epic charting system is a hard requirement. Why ARMStaffing?
