TLC Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Potsdam, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – PCU / MedSurg-Tele Schedule Weekend coverage: Every other week Requirements - New York RN license required - Minimum 1 year RN experience - ACLS and BLS certifications required - NIHSS certification required - Experience in PCU/tele or med-surg preferred - EPIC charting experience required Roles & Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a PCU/ MedSurg-Tele setting - Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage dysrhythmias - Administer medications and blood products following protocols - Conduct assessments and implement care plans for diverse patient populations, including cardiac, respiratory, and post-operative patients - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care - Perform invasive procedures as needed, including IV starts and chest tube care Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 16 hours - Must be available for floating to sister units as needed About TLC Nursing TLC Nursing has been working with the best of the best nursing and allied travelers for over 18 years.
