Driver Recruiter

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year plus bonus per hire Location: Huntley, IL Company Overview Vista Trans Holding Inc. is a leading asset-based carrier based in Lake in the Hills, IL. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Driver Recruiter to help expand our driver team. About the Role As a Driver Recruiter, you will play a critical role in supporting our company’s growth by attracting and hiring qualified CDL drivers. This is a fast-paced, people-focused position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the trucking industry. Key Responsibilities Driver Sourcing & Recruitment Actively source qualified CDL drivers through job boards, social media, referrals, and industry platforms Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates Post and manage job listings to attract top talent Candidate Screening & Evaluation Review applications to assess qualifications, experience, and endorsements Conduct phone screenings and pre-qualify candidates Verify CDL licenses, driving records, and required credentials Coordination & Communication Work closely with dispatch and operations to understand hiring needs Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps in the hiring process Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the process Compliance & Documentation Ensure all recruiting activities comply with DOT regulations and company standards Maintain accurate records of candidates, hiring activity, and driver documentation Qualifications Previous recruiting experience (trucking or logistics industry preferred) Knowledge of CDL requirements and DOT regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to evaluate candidates and make sound hiring recommendations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms Experience using social media and online sourcing tools Vista Trans Holding is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
