Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position specializing in Neuro/Spine surgery, requiring 2+ years of recent OR experience and current Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Main Operating Room setting within the Surgery department,
• Neuro/Spine surgical patient population with a 24-bed unit capacity,
• 1:1 patient ratios,
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
• Call requirements apply,
• Uses Epic EMR,
• Standard OR equipment utilized,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) required,
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required, AHA-issued only,
• Minimum 2+ years of recent OR experience required,
• Recent experience in General Surgery and Orthopedic procedures required,
• Recent Epic EMR experience required,
• DaVinci Robot and Max Face experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Perform surgical nursing duties supporting General Surgery and Orthopedic cases,
• Navy scrub color required,
• Unacceptable attire includes t-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, and nail polish,
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible,
