Mailroom Associate

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated professional to join their Mailroom Operations team in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily mailroom activities, including receiving and unloading delivery trucks, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring packages are accurately tracked and distributed.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service by assisting employees with locating packages, responding to emails, resolving delivery-related issues, and serving as a reliable point of contact for mailroom inquiries. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a positive, hardworking, and "get-it-done" attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to become forklift certified. Previous experience in customer service, logistics, shipping/receiving, mailroom operations, or administrative support is highly preferred.

Skills and Requirements

-Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to lift, move, and unload packages of various sizes & weights.

-Ability to work on one's feet throughout the day.

-Proficient with MS suite.

-Strong attention to detail and verbal/written communication skills.

-Positive "get-it-done" attitude and willingness to work in fast paced & dynamic environment.

-Willingness to become forklift certified. -Experience with ticket management software (Facility OS is a plus.)

-Prior experience in a mailroom, shipping/receiving, logistics, warehouse background.

-Forklift certification.
