This role will provide administrative and operational support throughout the product development process, with a focus on sample management, product information maintenance, and product data coordination.\n

Position Overview

The Temporary PLM Assistant will support the Product Development team with maintaining accurate product information, coordinating samples, and keeping product data organized across internal systems. Responsibilities Of The Temporary PLM Assistant

\n

\n
• Track product samples throughout the development process and maintain accurate records of sample status and location.
\n
• Receive, unpack, organize, and distribute incoming sample boxes.
\n
• Assist with sample setups for team reviews, meetings, and presentations.
\n
• Maintain an organized sample area and ensure samples are easy to locate.
\n
• Coordinate sample movement between team members and departments.
\n
• Identify missing, delayed, or misplaced samples and communicate issues to the appropriate team members.
\n
• Maintain and update product information within PLM systems.
\n
• Enter, update, and verify item-level information to ensure records are accurate and complete.
\n
• Review product information for missing or inconsistent data.
\n
• Assist with ongoing product updates throughout the development cycle.
\n
• Maintain and update product/item information within OMS systems.
\n
• Assist with basic item maintenance and resolve data-related issues.
\n
• Support the Product Development team with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Required Experience/Skills For The Temporary PLM Assistant

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
\n
• Ability to learn and navigate internal systems.
\n
• Comfortable working with physical product samples, including unpacking, organizing, tracking, and setting up samples.
\n
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
\n
• Strong follow-through and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience/Skills For The Temporary PLM Assistant

\n

\n
• Previous experience supporting Product Development, Merchandising, Buying, or PLM teams.
\n
• Experience working with a PLM system.
\n
• Experience with OMS or other product/item management systems.
\n
• Retail, fashion, home, consumer products, or merchandising experience.
\n
• Sample tracking or sample management experience.
\n
• Experience creating or maintaining line lists.
\n
• Strong Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formatting, and managing large amounts of product information.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

\n
