Endoscopy Registered Nurse, GI - Full Time, Alexandria, VA

In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will educate patients, document procedures, and ensure adherence to quality standards. As an Endoscopy RN Lead with Gastro Health, you will: Assist the physicians to provide direct patient care for colonoscopy & endoscopy procedures Completion of admission assessments Monitor patients receiving IV moderate sedation Oversee and participate in the preparation and flow of the procedure room Preparation for discharging patients Post-anesthesia care Compensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly rate Paid holidays, Paid time off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plans (401k & Profit Sharing), Short and Long-Term disability Candidate Requirements: Current Virginia RN license (required) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Recovery room experience a plus IV skills are a plus BLS and ACLS required About the Location: Alexandria has a great small-town charm with easy access to Washington, D.C.
