Lead Controls Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

• 6+ years of experience in Information Systems, industrial automation, or related technical roles.

• Strong experience with SCADA, SQL, 4GL programming, scripting, and server-based technologies .

• Hands-on experience programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems.

• Strong knowledge of ladder logic, structured programming, I/O mapping, and HMI integration.

• Experience troubleshooting automated production and material-handling systems in manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of industrial communication networks and plant-floor device integration.

• Experience developing and executing integrated test plans.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Ignition and iFix SCADA/HMI platforms.

• Experience with industrial barcode, scanning, and vision systems.

• Experience leading controls modernization and automation upgrade projects.

• Experience supporting both legacy and modern industrial control environments.
